Living in Perry Township Perry Township is a small community that provides an excellent location for family living. Below are some of the resources available to Township residents. Schools - Perry Township is located in the Central Greene School District which is recognized for providing its excellent educational program. Elementary students attend Perry Elementary School located in Mt. Morris. Older students attend Margaraet Bell Middle School and Waynesburg Central High School. Parks - Perry Township is the location of Mason-Dixon Historical Park which straddles the PA / WV line with portions in Perry Twp. and the other portion in Monongalia County, PA. The PA portion of the park is mostly wooded and hosts several hiking trails as well as the western most marker on the Mason-Dixon line. The main park headquarters, located on the WV side contains several meeting houses, ampitheater, playground, pavillions and a boat launching ramp on Dunkard Creek. Also located in Perry Township is the Township sports field on Hobbs Run Rd. Community Center - This is the former Mt. Morris public school located on Main St. in the center of Mt. Morris. Housed in the front of the building is the Mt. Morris Senior Citizen's Center. The center is operated by the Southwestern Pennsylvania Area Agency on Aging, Inc.and Senior Services Community Action - Southwest. The Senior Center is open Monday-Friday. The Community Center also houses the Mt. Morris Reading Center. The reading center is available for use by small meetings - contact Susan Brown, email: srbwva "at" comcast.net Mt.
