The Greene County Planning Commission was formed nearly 50 years ago to oversee the subdivision of land and the land development activity in Greene County. Since its formation, the commission has evolved and, while still conducting the activities described, has taken on many and varied other tasks as well. The commission plays an integral part in the approval process for land use issues as governed by the Municipalities Planning Code of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Planning Commission meetings will be held at 7 p.m. in the second-floor meeting room of the Greene County Office Building, 93 East High Street, Waynesburg. Regular meetings are held on the first Monday of each month, unless otherwise advertised.
