About Commissioner Chuck Morris:
Chuck Morris was sworn into office of at a private ceremony on August 10, 2010. He was selected by Greene County Judges to complete the term of office vacated by Dave Coder who resigned as commissioner after he accepted the position of deputy district director for U.S. Representative Mark Critz. Mr. Morris will serve as commissioner through 2011 when he will need to seek election next year should he decide to be a candidate. He will continue his law practice while serving as county commissioner.

Mr. Morris served as Greene County District Attorney from 1980-1988; and is the partner with the law firm Pollock Morris LLC.

Mr. Morris is a graduate of Carmichaels Area High School, earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame and his law degree from Duquesne University. He joined the Waynesburg law office of Pollock Pollock and Thomas in 1975 and is currently a partner in the office of Pollock Morris, LLC.

Morris is a member of the Pennsylvania and the Greene County Bar Associations and County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania, the Greene County Criminal Justice Advisory Board, and a former member of the Greene County Planning Commission, where he served as chairman. He is a member of St. Ann Church in Waynesburg.

A lifelong resident of Greene County, now residing in Franklin Township with his wife, Janice, and his children, Jenna and Trevor.
