Program Overview:
The Greene County Department of Human Services has administrative oversight of Intellectual & Development Disabilities Program services in the county, including:
Program contracting and monitoring
Generic case management
Waiver case management
Early Intervention coordination and monitoring
Early Intervention Program:
The Early Intervention Program provides developmental and educational services to Greene County children younger than three years old who have developmental delays. Services are offered at NO COST to all clients, regardless of the family’s income. Children qualify based on the results of a full developmental assessment. Following the development of an Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP), sessions are provided at the convenience of the family in the child’s home or day care setting. ALL children are eligible for a FREE screening and assessment. To access these services, please contact the Early Intervention Program. Utilizing the program’s help could greatly improve quality of life for children served.
