Shirley has held these positions since 1985 and has worked in the office of the clerk of courts since 1968. In addition to criminal and juvenile courts, Shirley is responsible for orphan's court, adoptions, marriage licenses, first and final accounts and settlements of small estates.
Shirley is a native of Greene County and a graduate of Jefferson High School. She is the daughter of the late Harry G. and Dorothy P. Huffman and the widow of Robert Stockdale. Shirley has three daughters, four grandchildren and a two great-grandson.
Affiliations: Member of the First Baptist Church of Waynesburg; Prothonotaries & Clerk of Courts Association and Register of Wills and Clerk of Orphans' Court Association; a member of the both the Waynesburg and Carmichaels Chambers of Commerce, and Greene County Democrat Women. Shirley also serves on the policy board of Greene County Victim/Witness Association, and is a member of the East Franklin Grange 1709 and a member of the Pomona Grange.
