Lynn T. Leathers won election to the office of Democratic Jury Commissioner in the 2009 municipal election. She was sworn into office Jan. 4, 2010. Her four-year term expires Dec. 31, 2013.
Prior to seeking office, Leathers has worked as an administrative assistant in various offices, including Texas Eastern Gas Pipeline Company in Uniontown. A 1978 graduate of Centerville High School in Centerville, Ohio, Leathers attended Waynesburg University and earned credits toward a degree in business.
Born in Detroit, Leathers lives in Waynesburg with her husband, Greg, and their children, Cole and Jessica. She serves as Co-Den Leader of Waynesburg Cub Scout Pack #1280.
