The Greene County Retirement Board Meeting was brought to order by Chairman Pam Snyder directly after the sinking board meeting in the first floor meeting room of the County Office Building. Others in attendance were: Commissioner Coder, Commissioner Trader, Chief Clerk Gene Lee, Farley Toothman, Cory Balint, Dave Balint, Karen Bennett, Sarah Smith, Tracy Zivkovich, Scott Kelley and Members of the Press.
MINUTES: Commissioner Coder made the motion and Treasurer Grandel the second to approve the minutes from January 22, 2009. Vote unanimous.
OLD BUSINESS:
2008 employee participation benefit statements completed and will be distributed to all employees.
NEW BUSINESS:
Commissioner Trader made the motion and Controller Balint the second to change the set rate of interest allowed for member contribution accounts from 5 ½ to 4 ½ due to economic conditions. Vote unanimous.
Commissioner Snyder made the motion and Controller Balint the second to go into executive session at 10:20 am regarding a legal matter. Vote unanimous.
Commissioner Snyder made the motion and Commissioner Trader the second to come back from executive session at 10:45 am. Vote unanimous.
