The Greene County Retirement Board meeting was brought to order by Chairman Pam Snyder in the first floor meeting room of the County Office Building. Others in attendance were: Commissioner Coder, Commissioner Trader, Gene Lee, Dave Balint, Cory Grandel, Tracy Zivkovich, Karen Bennett, Robbie Matesic, Cheryl Cowen, General Public and Members of the Press.
MINUTES: Commissioner Coder made the motion and Controller Balint the second to approve the minutes from June 18, 2009. Vote unanimous.

No motions were taken, just discussed and all agreed.
Issues with records, book keeping for pension. County receives print out when someone cashes a check from the pension fund. The County wants copies of cancelled checks with the signatures (front and back copies) leave employment, cash out employment annuity, no record. The bank has agreed to provide copies for County files. The County will amend the process to include proof of checks being cashed and close the loop.
Hold a workshop on pension for employees before the end of the year.
Discussion regarding going back to older checks for audit.
