The Greene County Retirement Board Meeting was brought to order by Chairman Pam Snyder directly following the salary board meeting in the first floor meeting room of the county office building. Others in attendance were Commissioner Coder, Commissioner Trader, Chief Clerk Gene Lee, Cheryl Cowen, Karen Bennett, Tracy Zivkovich, Robbie Matesic, Dave Balint, General Public and Members of the Press.
MINUTES: Commissioner Coder made the motion and Commissioner Trader the second to approve the minutes from August 20, 2009. Vote unanimous.
OLD BUSINESS:

NEW BUSINESS:
Commissioner Coder made the motion and Commissioner Trader the second to take the County share of the pension fund from 1/100th (1%) to 1/80th (1.25%) effective 01-01-2010. Vote unanimous.
Controller Balint made the motion and Commissioner Trader the second to elect to reduce the contribution back to 5% effective 01-01-2010 in accordance with county pension law 16 P.S. 11657 section E the board at any time may authorize members of the retirement system to individually elect to reduce the contribution to any of the percentages herein. Vote unanimous.
