Commissioner Coder called the Greene County Prison Board Meeting to order at 11:45 am in the first floor meeting room of the County Office Building. Others in attendance were: Commissioner Snyder, Commissioner Trader, Warden Gillispie, Deputy Warden Sue Haxton, Judge Nalitz, Marge Fox, Dave Balint, Dave Pollock, Gene Lee, Tracy Zivkovich and Members of the Press.
MOTIONS:
Commissioner Trader made the motion and Marge Fox the second to approve the minutes from January 20, 2010. Vote unanimous.
Commissioner Snyder made the motion and Controller Balint the second to go into executive session at 11:50 am to discuss personnel issues. Vote unanimous.
Commissioner Snyder made the motion and Controller Balint the second to come back from executive session at noon. Vote unanimous.
SECURITY:
Continue to house female inmates for Fayette County.
Continue to negotiate with the Department of Corrections concerning the housing of state inmates.
MAINTENANCE:
General maintenance continues daily.
TRAINING: No training has taken place since the last meeting.
FINANCIAL REPORT:
Deposits totaling $2,260.00 were deposited with the Greene County Treasurers office for work release and weekend inmates.
Fayette County owes $2,520.00 for January 2010 inmate housing.
TOTAL 98 (This includes four (4) Fayette County inmates)
GENERAL DISCUSSION: Warden wanted to thank staff and all involved for their assistance during the recent snow storm.
PUBLIC COMMENT: The next Prison Board Meeting will be held at noon at the Corner Cupboard Food Bank on Wednesday, March 17, 2010.
ADJOURNMENT: Commissioner Snyder made the motion and Commissioner Trader the second to adjourn the meeting. Vote unanimous.
