Commissioner Trader called the Greene County Prison Board meeting to order at 11:45 am in the first floor meeting room of the County office building. Others in attendance were: Commissioner Snyder, Commissioner Morris, Warden Gillispie, Susan Haxton, Dave Balint, Marge Fox, Dick Ketchem, Jeff Marshall, Tracy Zivkovich, Charlotte Popielarcheck and Members of the Press.
MOTIONS:
Commissioner Snyder made the motion and Marge Fox the second to approve the minutes from November 16, 2011. No official action on December 14, 2011 due to lack of quorum.
SECURITY:
Continue to house female inmates for Fayette County.
MAINTENANCE:
Day to day maintenance is being completed by the maintenance department.
FINANCIAL REPORT:
Deposits totaling $2,620.00 have been made with the Greene County Treasurers office for work release and weekend inmates.
Fayette County owes $14,400 for December 2011 inmate housing.
GENERAL DISCUSSION:
Prison work crew had been working on the house next to Cornerstone Care they had done all the electrical wiring. When they went to do some other repairs found out that the cooper wiring had been taken out of the house. They will be doing the electrical wiring over.
PUBLIC COMMENT:
The next regular meeting of the Greene County Prison Board will be held at 11:45 am on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 in the Commissioners meeting room.
ADJOURNMENT:
Commissioner Snyder made the motion and Sheriff Ketchem the second to adjourn the meeting. Vote unanimous.
