The Greene County Salary Board Meeting was brought to order by Chairman Pam Snyder in the first floor meeting room of the County office building. Commissioner Trader made the motion and Controller Balint the second to appoint Pam Snyder as the chairman for the salary board. Vote unanimous.
Commissioner Morris made the motion and Controller Balint the second to appoint Archie Trader as the vice chairman for the salary board. Vote unanimous.
Commissioner Trader made the motion and Controller Balint the second to appoint Chuck Morris as the secretary for the salary board. Vote unanimous.
HUMAN SERVICES:
Controller Balint made the motion and Commissioner Morris the second to hire Alyssa Ondash as a County Caseworker I in CYS @$18.16 per hour UMWA effective 01-03-12. Vote unanimous.
Commissioner Trader made the motion and Controller Balint the second to hire Travis Watson as IDD Program Specialist @$15.55 per hour effective 01-09-12. Vote unanimous.
JAIL:
Commissioner Morris made the motion and Commissioner Trader the second for the promotion of Steven Tyler Cummins to regular full time Corrections Officer I @$14.27 per hour effective 12-11-12. Vote unanimous.
Commissioner Trader made the motion and Controller Balint the second for the transfer of Myrle Perry to his previous position of Corrections Officer I full time @$14.02 per hour SEIU effective 01-07-12. Vote unanimous.
COURTS:
Commissioner Morris made the motion and Commissioner Trader the second to administering the retirement of Margaret (Shirley) Stockdale effective 12-31-11. Pay $5,000 severance pay. Vote unanimous.
Sherry Wise made the motion and Controller Balint the second designating Linda Ankney-Moore as the First Deputy I in the Clerk of Courts Office @$30,701 effective 01-01-12. Vote unanimous.
Sherry Wise made the motion and Commissioner Morris the second to hire Janice Lahew as First Deputy II in the Clerk of Courts Office @$28,311 effective 01-16-12. Vote unanimous.
PROTHONOTARY:
Controller Balint made the motion and Commissioner Trader the second for the transfer of Justine Tift to Administrative Assistant I @$13.53 per hour SEIU PG 9 effective 01-03-12 waive benefit period. Vote unanimous.

District Attorney Fox made the motion and Commissioner Trader the second for the salary adjustment of John Friedman to $42,600, Brianna Vanata to $41,900 and Ricardo Cicconi to $36,540 effective 01-01-12. Vote unanimous.
District Attorney Fox made the motion and Commissioner Trader the second to change the Chief County Detective to full time. Vote unanimous.
