WAYNESBURG, PA – The Greene County Department of Recreation will host a “Skate & Dance” event from 6 to 11 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, at the Mon View Roller Rink and Community Center in Greensboro.
Admission is $5 for the skate, which will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., $4 for the dance, from 9 to 11 p.m., or $8 to attend both.
The February “Skate & Dance” is the second of five “Skate & Dance” events planned for the winter and spring at Mon View Roller Rink. The events are held the first Friday of each month through May. The next “Skate & Dance” events are scheduled for March 5, April 2 and May 7. All times and prices will remain the same.
Winter skating hours for Mon View are 7 to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Admission to skate is $4, or $5 with skate rental. General admission to the facility is now $5.
Mon View is available to rent for private parties or corporate fundraisers at a rate of $120 for two hours. The price covers admission and skate rental for 20 people. A fee of $3 per additional person will be charged. Additionally, skate lessons at Mon View are available by appointment only.
