WAYNESBURG, PA – The board of directors of the Greene County Tourist Promotion Agency held its first meeting of the new year Wednesday, Jan. 13, and elected new officers for 2010.
The new board president is Andrew Corfont, assistant vice president of Community Bank. Lena Galing, owner of Lippencott Alpacas, will serve as vice president, and Gretchen Graham, Greene County Historical Society board member, was elected secretary/treasurer.
The board also welcomed three new members: Karen Calvert, owner of Our Glass Creations; Karina Graziani, public relations specialist at Southwest Regional Medical Center; and Kim Lawless, administrative assistant at First Federal Savings and Loan of Greene County.
Board meetings will continue to be held at 3:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month at the agency office in the lower level of the Greene County Airport. This year, however, the agency plans to hold three of its meetings at alternate locations, such as member establishments. For the February board meeting, members will meet at Sorella’s Pizzeria in Mt. Morris. The other two special meeting locations will be determined at a later date.
