COX-PHILLIPS SCHOLARSHIP MEMORIAL FUND

Anyone wishing to posthumously honor Gregory Cox and Steven Phillips by contributing to their scholarship fund, may do so at any time. FIFTH ANNUAL HEROES RUN SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISER, TO BE HELD ON SEPTEMBER 17, 2011 | News Release — More than 400 individuals registered for the fourth annual Heroes Run/Walk, held Saturday, Sept. 18, along the Greene River Trail. The event raised more than $15,000 for memorial funds established in the names of two Greene County servicemen killed in Iraq.

SAFE KIDS for GREENE COUNTY
Greene County SAFE KIDS, a subcommittee of MAGIC Community Team, is requesting your support for several important initiatives* that are being offered to Greene County residents:


SAFE KIDS, Greene County hopes that local agencies will support this effort by identifying and referring clients who are in need of the items (Smoke Detectors, Baby Cribs, Car Seats, and/or Bike Helmets).

Educational information will also be provided by SAFE KIDS. If you know of a household with children and who are in need of any of these items, please call SAFE KIDS at 724-627-3168. Thank you for your support!
