Betsy McClureOur Greene County Board of Commissioners are elected to serve for a term of four years. During this time, the Commissioners are responsible for the fiscal affairs of Greene County, including the annual budget, levying of real estate taxes and the investment of county funds.

About Commissioner McClure

Betsy McClure took the oath of office as Greene County Commissioner on Monday, January 6, 2020, beginning a term of office dedicated to advancing the interests of all citizens of Greene County. She believes in an open door policy, and encourages Greene County citizens to attend County meetings and become a positive part of our government.

Betsy has been the Greene County Commissioner for almost 3 1/2 years now. 
She has been a life-long resident of Greene County.

By profession she is a Registered nurse and has practiced nursing for more than 25 years. 
Betsy received her BSN from Waynesburg University and her Master's in Education from Cal U.

Her goal as a County Commissioner is to simply make Greene County a better place to live,work and play for all residents...
Betsy has an open door policy and feels if it is important to you it is important to her, as she works for the people she represents as a County Commmissioner. 

She sits on the Human Service Committee for CCAP as the Vice- Chair. At the County level she oversees Human Services and CYS. She is a member of SPC.

She  is a GC Fairboard member for the County and a member of the Waynesburg Lions Club.
