Waynesburg Borough

Waynesburg Borough was settled October 28, 1796 and incorporated on January 20, 1816. Waynesburg is the county seat of Greene County, PA, and located 60 miles (97 km) southwest of Pittsburgh. The borough is in 18th Congressional District, the 46th Senatorial District, and the 50th Legislative District of Pennsylvania.

Community Development Block Grant Program

The Community Development Block Grant  (CDBG) Program for Waynesburg Borough is administered by the County of Greene. For information on this program, please see the County CDBG Webpage.

News

During a county meeting held on May 15th, 2019 Greene County Commissioners received project requests for consideration for the Federal Fiscal Years 2019 Community Development Block Grant program (CDBG) Grant application. Over the next five months project request will be reviewed for eligibility. The applicant will be announced at the second CDBG Hearing tentatively scheduled October 23, 2019.
