Elections Office Notifies of Temporary Polling Changes and Seeks Poll Workers

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
 
WAYNESBURG – Due to the COVID-19 restrictions some of Greene County voting precincts had to temporarily change for the Primary Election on June 2, 2020. In order to keep in compliance with the current guidelines set forth by the Governor’s office, Greene County had to move nine voting precincts out of forty-two.  Below are the nine precincts affected:

 The Greene County Elections Office is also currently seeking registered Greene County Voters to serve as poll workers for the upcoming Primary Election.  The rate of pay begins at $115.00 for June 2, 2020 beginning at 6 am until 9 pm.   Poll workers will be paid an additional $15.00 for attending a 2-hour training for Election Day.
