The proposed 2020 General Fund budget is available HERE. The budget is available for public inspection and comment for a period of 20 days and is expected to be passed, as a final version, on December 19th at the regularly scheduled December Commissioners meeting. A copy of the budget is also available for inspection in the Chief Clerk's Office, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

IDA (Industrial Development Authority)

Our Mission

The Greene County Industrial Development Authority's concentration is on economic development. The authority’s focus is on the creation, attraction and retention of business. GCIDA offers financial assistance through a variety of loan programs, as well as technical assistance by working with our federal and state legislators, and development partners, including Waynesburg University and the University of Pittsburgh Institute of Entrepreneurial Excellence, to further expand business opportunities throughout the county. GCIDA is the lead agency for industrial recruitment and expansion in Greene County and actively partners with the Greene County Board of Commissioners to foster economic growth in the county. Through the support of local government, GCIDA provides information and assistance for manufacturing and distribution investors interested in site locations for new or expanding operations.

Services

 The Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) was established to provide seed money to promote job development and business growth and expansion within Greene County. The RLF is designed to stimulate expansion and assist small business for the purpose of retaining and creating job development in Greene County.

The Greene Site Search is a collaborative project between the Greene County economic development agencies, Greene County Realtors, the Pittsburgh Regional Alliance and GIS Planning. The website lists properties currently available in Greene County as well as extensive demographic, labor force, wage, and consumer spending information for cities and communities within Greene County.
